Why soap makers choose sleeves
- Lower cost per bar: less board means a lower price than a closed box.
- Bar stays visible and fragrant: open ends show the soap and let customers smell it.
- Breathable: air reaches the bar, which suits soaps that are still finishing their cure.
- Less material: a sleeve uses a fraction of the board of a full carton and is easy to recycle.
Sleeve styles
- Full sleeve: wraps most of the bar, with room for your logo, story and ingredients.
- Belly band: a narrow band around the middle of the bar for a minimal look.
- Sleeve with window: a die cut opening on the front to show color and texture (see soap boxes with window).
- Kraft sleeve: natural brown board for organic brands (see kraft soap boxes).
How to measure for a soap sleeve
- Measure the width and height of your bar (the faces the sleeve wraps).
- Add them together and double the result: this is the girth.
- Add 3 to 5 mm so the sleeve slides on without tearing.
- Choose the band height: about one third to one half of the bar length works well.

We accept artwork in AI, EPS, PDF, or high-resolution PSD format (300 DPI minimum). If you don’t have a design ready, our free in-house design team will create one for you based on your brand guidelines, logo, and color palette.
Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a 2D proof for approval within 24–48 hours. For window-cut soap boxes, we recommend confirming window placement against your bar soap’s dimensions before final approval.
Soap boxes are custom-sized to fit your bar dimensions — just provide the length, width, and height of your soap bar (or send a sample) and we’ll calculate the optimal box size.
